Portable Church AVL Packages for CityReach Network

April 5, 2017

In our previous post (our very first blog post), we gave you a bit of our history. The purpose of Church in a Box (CBS) is to offer great, complete turn-key systems for churches who have a high priority for up front savings or need a package delivered very quickly.

Last year, we were presented with an amazing opportunity to expand a bit more. At the time, we were offering our four full-system packages. Those include everything a church needs to launch, including the worship space, kids ministry, welcome area, signs and trailer – all with customization available. Now, we offer something new: AVL System Packages.

The opportunity came when we got a call from CityReach Network, a church multiplication organization that also has local recovery home and global missions programs. They wanted to ease much of the pain of church planting and volunteering that pastors and serving teams face. Budget, time and energy was the main part of that – which is what we at CBS aim to help churches find solutions for.

John Snider, pastor of CityReach Endicott, NY, looks back on his experience working with Church in a Box with appreciation. "I could focus on instilling the vision for our church, on people instead of logistics." You can read more of his church's story here

After planning, designing and tweaking, CityReach Network received their first 32 packages in 2016. We continue to refine and improve the packages as part of our partnership with CityReach Network. That’s why we’re excited to have introduced the AVL System Packages to all our prospective CBS customers!

The AVL System Packages differ, with the smallest (Microsite) package including items like a mixer, microphones, projector and computer, supporting cables and offering buckets, and the largest (Large Trailer) including, in addition, items like music stands, tables, a kids’ check-in case, toys and supplies, and a trailer – along with upgrade options.

CityReach Network launched all their churches the same weekend. CBS developed a training and delivery solution that regionally trained the local teams in advance of launch and prepared their teams to be effective in setup/teardown so they could focus more on their communities and visitors. Each church that purchases an AVL System Package not only receives the best, inexpensive equipment, custom-designed cases, but has the option to receive additional support and training.
